Will of Barnett ALLGOOD (Barnett Holloway ALLGOOD).
I Barnett Allgood being in sound mind and memory, etc. First, i will and bequeath unto my daughters Polly (Mary) MILLER, wife of Issac MILLER, Jane MURPHY, wife of Ellis MURPHY, Amelia MILLER, wife of George MILLER, Patsey Ellis, wife of Stephen ELLIS, Nancy ELLIS, wife of Jeremiah ELLIS, Fanny KENNEMORE, widow of Benson KENNEMORE, the sum of one hundred dollars each, and to the children of my daughter Cassandra MAJOR, decd., one hundred dollars equally divided between them. Secondly, as soon after my death as convenient to sell upon such terms as they think proper all my property except my negroes. Thirdly, I wish my several negroes each for him or herself individually to be permitted to choose his or her master or mistress, etc., etc. Fourthly, after the sale of my property pay my living daughters and make an equal division between my beloved wife Elizabeth ALLGOOD, my sons Bannister, Alexander, DeForrest, Alvin ALLGOOD, and my sons in law, Issac MILLER, Ellis MURPHY, George MILLER, Stephen ELLIS, Jeremiah ELLIS, and my widowed daughter Fanny KENNEMORE, and the children of Cassandra MAJOR decd.
